I recommend that you save this section until you have a good understanding of nutrition basics, as provided in the HEALTH BASICS FIRST section. If you've already noticed that information is too basic for you, then, by all means, check this information out, but don't neglect studying any of the basic information that's new to you.
I'm giving you this notice since I don't want you to start here, get frustrated by its more complex nature, and decide that nutrition is not for you! Good nutrition is for everyone, and it's vitally important to know the basics before moving on to the more complex.
Note that in his 48-minute video, Thomas DeLauer is not promoting Target, but rather showing us specific wholesome high-fat products that are available there and elsewhere, and are also good buys. More importantly, he explains science-based reasons WHY they are good for us. Knowing WHY is so important when making our own choices at the grocery store.
As you will see, this fast-moving video is for those already with background knowledge about fats, not newbies just getting into health.
